Gerald Ingeveld, Chair
Gerald Ingeveld was raised South of Sundre on the ranch that he now operates along with his wife Shelley. Gerald graduated from Sundre High School, then attended Olds College before returning to the family Ranch. He served two terms on Mountain View County Council, where he was the founding chair of the Mountain View Regional Emergency Services, as well as a board member of mountain View Seniors Housing. He followed that with six years as a member of the David Thompson Health Advisory Council. He has been chairing the Sundre Hospital Futures Committee since 2011. Gerald has one son in Calgary, and son in law, daughter and grandson on the ranch.
Heidi Overguard, Executive Member, Vice-Chair
Heidi Overguard is an executive member and Vice-Chair of The Sundre Hospital Futures Committee. Heidi has been a member of the group since it began in 2011 as a Sundre Hospital Physician Recruitment and Retention committee. Heidi is now Chair of the Sundre Hospital Health Professional Recruitment and Retention Committee (SHPARC). Heidi has three children, farms with her husband, is a professional photographer and is co-owner of three dance studios in Sundre, Olds & Trochu.
Chantal Crawford, Executive Member
Chantal Crawford RN BScN, ismarried with 5 children. She was born and raised in the west country of Sundre. She currently resides on a cattle and horse ranch northwest of Sundre with her husband and children, just outside of a little village called Caroline. She has been working at the Sundre Hospital since 2008 in acute care, obstetrics and emergency. Since March 2018 she has taken on the clinical educator role for both Olds and Sundre hospitals. Chantal currently sits on Sundre’s QI committee for the hospital and is a director for the Sundre hospital Futures committee. serving on the SHPARC, advocacy and gala committees.
Joyce Wicks, Executive Member, Advocacy Chair
Joyce Wicks is a retired RN,BN and is happily married with 3 children and 7 grandchildren. She has enjoyed 44 years of rural healthcare practice as a clinician, educator, administrator and consultant. Joyce is proud of federal political appointment for 4.5 years as Chairperson, Board of Referees, Employment Insurance appeals at Service Canada office, Calgary. She is presently, a Director on Sundre Hospital Futures’ Committee and Chairperson of the Advocacy Committee which monitors the statistics related to utilization of the hospital resources and health care trends in the community.
Monica St.Dennis, Executive Member, Treasurer
Monica has been married for 31 years, has two children and 3 grand children. She lives between Sundre and Caroline on a small acreage and spends most of her free time with her friends and family. She enjoys camping, quadding and travelling. Monica is the manager of ATB Financial in Sundre, although she is in banking she has always been passionate about volunteering and giving back to the community she lives and works in. Monica currently sits on a few committee’s in Sundre and holds Treasurer position for 2 of them. She has been on this committee since inception and is very proud of the work that has been done and extremely excited for the possibilities the future holds.
Tara Tooth, Executive Member. Gala Chair
Tara Tooth manages a successful local Farm & Feed store in Sundre. She is married and has three children and one grandchild and another on the way. Tara and her husband Jody operate a cow/calf operation just outside of Sundre. Tara has an extensive background in event planning and fundraising for local causes and community members in need. Always the first to step up to the plate, Tara prides herself on volunteering in our community.
Gerry Greschner, Executive Member, Committee Secretary
Gerry Greschner, BA (English) is married with three children and 3 grandchildren. After spending a number of years following her husband around the province for work the family settled in Sundre 19 years ago and this is now home. Gerry became involved with the Attraction and Retention committee and is active in supporting all activities for recruitment. Her personal favorite is the High School Skills day when the students get to come and have some hands on learning opportunities at the Sundre Hospital. Gerry is the secretary/coordinator for the Hospital Futures committee and the Attraction and Retention committee.
